About me

Hi, I’m Jeanette and I’m a fully qualified and accredited Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. I’m incredibly passionate about mental health and I have a very strong understanding of how the mind works and appreciate the importance of evidence-based practice.

After I suffered the loss of my beloved Father and trying to navigate through the grief and loss, I found I was asking myself numerous questions.  It was in finding these answers that I began to understand my thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a powerful way.  I then went on to train and volunteer within mental health.

This gave me valuable insight but I was still looking for answers. My feeling was that we should all be able to understand how we are the way we are and how we can help ourselves with lifelong coping strategies. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy provided me with those tools and techniques so that I can identify solutions, generate goals and take back control!

After realising the potential that this type of therapy has to change lives in a positive way I decided to train as a Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist with Clifton Practice known as the gold standard in Hypnotherapy training whose techniques are grounded in the latest research in neuroscience.

I love that the whole experience of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is designed to be uplifting.  Positive changes take place in a relatively short space of time, so you will begin to notice changes early on. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy practicing it so much and why I find it so rewarding.

I am a registered member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, and National Council for Hypnotherapy. Fully insured with Holistic services insurance. Clifton Practise is externally regulated and verified by the National Council for Hypnotherapy and NCFE, which means that I engage in Continuous Professional Development and receive regular supervision to ensure I am up to date in my knowledge. I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

I am an active Samaritans listening volunteer and Bereavement Support volunteer for my local hospice.
